Review summary

This was probably my most favorite Carnival cruise so far. The Conquest has some of the very best crew I’ve met. Every staff member we met had a very friendly and personable yet professional manner about them. The CD Mat, exudes energy and excitement and a true caring spirit with all activities he was involved in and with everyone he met and mingled with. Loved this feeling of being a part of a big family. 👍🏻🛳😘🎉

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved all of the dining venues from the MDR to Guy’s Burger Joint to the Lido’s Cezanne buffet.

Renoir Restaurant

5 out of 5

The Renoir dining experience was always a good choice for trying something new or getting just what you’re looking for. The variety of options were great for me. Never disappointed. The staff was always welcoming and ready to provide you a pleasant and delicious dining experience.

Restaurant Cezanne

4 out of 5

The best venue for almost any type of food you’re looking for. Salad options, cold plate options or something hot and tasty. For breakfast there’s anything you could ask for, even an omelette station. Most of our breakfasts and lunches were right here. This is another great place to meet helpful and friendly staff members who come from all over the world to make your cruise the best it can be!

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Guy’s Burger Joint was better than expected. The burger itself was very tasty and all the condiments you could ask for to make it your very own was exceptional! The fries were awesome too!

Steakhouse

5 out of 5

The Point Steakhouse was more than a specialty restaurant, it was as entertaining as it was a great dining venue. The food was impeccable and the staff very friendly and personable. We met Rakesh, The Point Steakhouse’s chef and such a very welcoming person. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and appreciated learning a few grilling/cooking tips along the way. We really enjoyed meeting all of the staff at The Point who shared their time with us. Serving the soup was the best laugh we had all day! 😂 Definitely Check this restaurant out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BlueIguana Tequila Bar

4 out of 5

Great staff, service was quick and friendly.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pools were always busy and it was so challenging to find a chair close enough to the pool to really just enjoy a quick dip and then back to bask the sun. The hot tub was a tad better but still generally occupied and full.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Always enjoyed the stage shows. The talented troupe on the Carnival Conquest was spectacular. The singing was fabulous, great vocal ranges and loved the costumes and special effects! The juggling act was super good and funny at the same time.

Toulouse-Lautrec Main Lounge

5 out of 5

The entertainment in the Toulouse-Lautrec was fantastic! We enjoyed every show we saw. The talented troupe on this ship was great! We find time to see the shows every cruise!

Carnival's Seaside Theater

5 out of 5

Loved the Seaside Theater! The tiered level provided great viewing and the coziness of a blanket to snuggle up in was top notch ... I did not expect the blanket service. Great touch Carnival!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service by all Conquest staff was fun and friendly. We especially appreciated our room steward Komang, he greeted us by name every time we saw him and his response to any request was prompt and always with a smile. The staff on board was fabulous and our experience in the Renoir was exceptional, thanks to Michelle, Vanessa & Theresa. Rakesh, the chef in the Point steakhouse was very personable and genuinely gave appreciation for our dining with them. Roman, Igor and Eric complemented the great service we had at The Point Steakhouse! Last but not least, I want to thank all of the staff, but an extra special Thank You to Mat our terrific CD whose energy and enthusiasm resonated out to all of the Conquest cruisers to make this one of the most enjoyable and fun filled cruises I’ve ever had on Carnival.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I would say in general the ship could use a few updates in decor. The layout on the promenade deck where you need to walk through the casino to get from one end of the ship to the other, needs a renovation to reroute people to avoid the smell of smoke. The ship seemed maintained well, as I saw personnel cleaning and repairing as necessary.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This cabin provided enough space as we expected. Traveling with a female member of my family we had the room configured for two beds. The drawers and closet space was more than sufficient for the two of us females. The restroom was also sufficient in size for both of our toiletries and basic restroom needs.

Ports of call

Willemstad, Curacao

Our excursion was for the Jewish Heritage tour and found it quite interesting. Our tour took us to a few Jewish historical locations and to a Jewish history museum. The tour also took us to the Curacao liquor plant for a walking tour there. Great tour!

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Great port, our most favorite on this cruise! The Aruba Highlights tour was exceptional. Our tour included the Aruba Aloe Plant, The Natural Bridge, The California Lighthouse and The Alto Vista Church. Everything was fabulous and our bus driver/tour guide was awesome! Would highly recommend this tour!

Disembarkation

This disembarkation experience took so long, not that I really wanted to get off the ship.I understand they’re unloading thousand of people, but we waited for over an hour and a half for our debarkation # to be called.

This is the same itinerary I will be on the first week of April. Did you book your excursions from the ship or privately? Thanks
