Review summary

I'd never been on a cruise, so didn't know what to expect. We had a wonderful time, would love to do another cruise in the future.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It wasn't the best, because I wasn't aware I needed my passport or birth certificate so I thought I had put it in my luggage. So we had to try and track it down and it had already gone on the ship. So it took like 1.5 hours to search. Then I had learned that you could just get a picture of your birth certificate and show, so I got that right away and got to get on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food wasn't the best. It was often tasteless, hard, cold. We stopped going to our scheduled supper time since it was not very good, and had much of the same on the buffet. We often got our food from Guys burger place and the 24/7 pizza.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the pool areas, but wished there was a little more to do. The day at sea was a little slow with lack of activities. But overall we had a great time.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had fun with the comedy shows and nightly entertainment. Very enjoyable

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we had interaction with was great! Loved our nightly servers (can't remember their names, table 351) Our room steward, Lasto, was great! He remembered our names, always asked us if we needed anything else, went above and beyond for us. Left the room in perfect condition for us. Big shout out to Lasto.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was great, except the dinning room location. Even with the slightest waves that room was rocking since it was in the back of the boat. Not so enjoyable when you were trying to sit and eat.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was just fine. It was a little small, but I expected as much. For 2 people, it was fine and we didn't spend time in there except to sleep and change. Again shout out to Lasto for keeping it perfect for us.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We spent time on the beach which was really enjoyable

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

4 out of 5
This port was a little disappointing, only because our snorkeling was cancelled. That was a port that you really need to have something booked because you can't really book it when you get there. So we just sat on the beach, which was fine.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
We did a beach and drink package, and had a lot of fun.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
We didn't have anything scheduled for here so found a waterfall thing when we got off. It was probably my favorite thing. However, we thought it was going to be a driving to the falls and getting out to look. Didn't realize it was a 40 minute 2mile walk uphill and then jump and slide off. It was amazing but would have been nice to know the hiking part.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Went fast and smoothly.

Just a little confused on how you got a picture of your birth certificate if it was in your luggage?
