Review summary

Overall, We had a most wonderful time and experience on board, with many excellent food options and choices. Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove with beyond our expectations and the favorite ports to visit. Grand Turk was very busy and crowded, and Nassau, well, it's Nassau.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Thanks to the outside staff, they directed us where we needed to be. After a short wait, we were quickly herded through security and to the waiting are for the FTTF passengers. We were on board in about 35 - 40 minutes of our arrival to the terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food is very good. It's not a fine dining experience like you'd get at a 5 star restaurant, but the food is well prepared and the service was great. 4.6 stars...

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We're more laid back, and perhaps Carnival isn't the best cruise line for us, but we still enjoy some of the activities, and the ability to get away from it all on the Serenity Deck. Having a balcony room also makes it a

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Music? Not our cup of tea, so to speak, and many venues had the volume way louder than needed to be for conversation.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jeffry, our cabin steward, was tops. The best we've had so far. Jeffry gets an extra start for making sure our cabin was properly kept. In the MDR Joseph, and his crew were absolutely amazing in their hospitality and service. Very friendly and attentive. Great crew!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Liked the ship very much, and little trouble finding our way around. Except for a few trays outside cabin doors, the ship seemed to be in good shape.

Ship tip

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Getting to the proper debarkation point was a bit confusing. FTTF people were told to be at a specific place on the ship, but when we tried to get there, we were told to walk further forward to a different set of elevators and expect us to walk back. But then we were directed to another direction, and then herded out another exit.
