Great ports of call and great ship. We aren’t a fan of Nassau but that’s just our personal choice and it has plenty to offer anyone that goes ashore.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had Faster to the Fun which made our embarkation go very smoothly. Just a quick trip through security a stamp on our boarding pass and we were done. We waited for about 10 minutes in the terminal and were on board by 11. This was the earliest we have ever been able to get on board. Our stateroom room was ready immediately so we dropped off our carry-ons and head to the Lido.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We love Guys Burgers and the Blue Iguana Cantina! The lines at the Blue Iguana were a bit long but worth the wait. The Lido buffet and MDR offerings were ok, but we don’t chose Carnival for the food, we are there for the fun! My husband got the steakhouse filet a couple of nights and said it was fantastic! Melting Chocolate Cake...I ordered peanut butter to go with mine and it was excellent!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Lots of offerings but we only had one sea day and we chose to just relax.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We haven’t been too impressed with the shows on recent cruises, but all three shows on the Conquest were awesome! One couple in our group went to the comedy show but wasn’t impressed. It’s hit or miss with the comedians.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our cabin steward was Rai and he was fantastic! He kept our room clean, was quick to fill any requests and always had a smile.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
We love the aft pool. Serenity was at the front of the shop and did not have a pool. Normally you see tables cleared on the Lido fairly quickly but we did notice that this didn’t happen on this cruise. Maybe the ship was a bit short staffed in that area.

Ship tip
Get to the pools early on sea days. But 7:30, most chairs were reserved (which is not allowed-in theory).
