Review summary

Overall I was disappointed with the cruise. I thought the entertainment was very poor. The day at sea was very boring for someone who doesn't drinkšŸ˜‰ I would have rather paid more for the cruise and have all the little things included. It was so frustrating being charged extra for EVERYTHING! For example: Puting water bottles in the cabin with a $3.50 price tag on it (that I see after I open it) is ridiculous! Be more accommodating. Raise the overall cost and stop with the nickling and diming! Having to tip constantly gets old too. Include the gratuities in the cost of the cruise so it's not something you have to think about and have change for all the time. Was very disappointed we even stopped at Grand Turk. It was completely destroyed by hurricanes...Carnival had to be aware of this.

Ship tip

If drunk is your specialty...this is your cup of tea. And the entertainment will be fabulous because everything is great when you're drunk.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Deep sea fishing excursion. Caught black fin tuna and had it cooked up at a nearby restaurant. Great excursion and best fish I've ever had!

Nassau, Bahamas

Fun swim with dolphins excursion. Frustrating that they charge extra for EVERYTHING.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Beautiful beach. Frustrating that they don't charge a little extra for the price of the cruise instead of trying to nickle and dime you constantly.

Grand Turk Island

Tiny island destroyed by two hurricanes. Did a hummer tour. Tour guides were great. But there was nothing to see due to destruction. Frustrating that we even stopped here.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Wished we could have stayed two days here instead of stopping at the Grand Turk. Beautiful! Did sail and snorkel and tour guides were awesome!
