Review summary

This was by far one of the best cruises I have ever been on, and the staff played a large part in this! I would definitely cruise on the Carnival Conquest again! (Note: I traveled with my (now) husband in this stateroom, but was together on the cruise with our family of 8 so I selected Family (older children))

Embarkation

Super easy as always!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There has never been a time where the food and service has not been phenomenal! I am just now finding this website in 2018 and I still remember that our waiter was from Serbia! Such an awesome wait team that had no issues serving our large group!

Monet Restaurant

5 out of 5

I am a HUGE fan of Monet. I thought the artwork was beautiful. The wait staff was phenomenal!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
As always I am a sucker for pools and hot tubs. There was not an issue with overcrowding for the most part. I LOVED the towel folding class!

Spa Carnival

5 out of 5

Kego was my masseuse. She actually performed my first ever hot stones massage and I was hooked! She did a great job!

Mini Golf

5 out of 5

So much fun! I had 3 hole in 1's in a row!!

Jogging Track

5 out of 5

Aside from guests walking in front of us runners it was practically perfect. It could get slippery. The view was BEAUTIFUL!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had a great time participating in the on-board entertainment. Squishy was the television host and I won the Towel Creations book from the morning show!

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I absolutely love that the staff remembered our names! I can't believe they can do that! We had a wonderful service team! This was by far one of the best cruises I have ever been on, and the staff played a large part in this!

Ship Quality

A little cramped, as is all interior cabins. It had all the necessities needed for a great trip.

Ship tip

If nothing has changed, be prepared to have a great time! I would love to sail again on this ship.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
We had some rain and it was a bit chilly but this didn't stop us! I loved having the opportunity to explore New Orleans. Coming down a day early was a great decision.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Jamaica was soooo much fun! Our Taxi driver was phenomenal! Not only did he charge us only $10 to drive into town, he came back and picked us up at the time we agreed on!!!! We shopped at local stores and finished at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. This Margaritaville was so much fun. It included an onsite water park that utilized the ocean. To get to the inflatables you had to slide down a yellow slide. We spent quite a bit here and utilized this as our excursion. The only thing it cost us was the price of food! (And margaritas of course!)

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Grand Cayman was okay. There were approx. 5 other cruise ships in port with us at the same time. If you wanted to travel anywhere it's best to buy a bus ticket and ride with them. We made the mistake thinking that it would be okay to walk to the nearest beach... Wrong! lol It took us forever to reach the beach, only to find it very small and uneventful. It was a very tiring day and we missed out on a lot.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Cozumel is full of stores and locals. Be sure to bring some spending money to get some adorable souvenirs to bring back home. I loved seeing some of the locals performing. We took an excursion to the Mayan Ruins and learned a lot from our guide! It was a long trip out there and back but was an awesome experience. Yes! I climbed it!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was depressing! We didn't want to get off! The staff on the Conquest did a great job. Disembarkation was super easy and relaxed.

Traveler Photos

Beautiful! Everything needed for a good night's sleep Mayan Ruins I love the interior. I am a huge fan of Monet!
