Review summary
The crew members was very nice and helpful. Grand Turks nothing to see. Half moon cay not happy with them not honoring the cheers pass, would have stayed out longer on the beach if they would have honored it. Will not be taking this cruise again.Embarkation

Sadly in the rules about the Cheers program it states "Program only applicable for onboard purchases during regular operating hours." Grant Turk is one of my favorite ports because it is a complete relaxation day at the beach. There are things to do there but for us, it is the beach and Margarittaville!

We love Half Moon Cay as well. The cheers program is only for onboard purchases. I would imagine it would be
nearly impossible to prevent drink sharing, which is likely a big reason for the restriction, along with extra profits.
The following is from Carnival FAQs:
Please note
Due to state laws, we cannot sell CHEERS! until the second day of the cruise (starting at 6:00am) for voyages departing from our Texas and New York home ports. Program only applicable for onboard purchases. CHEERS! is not offered on 2 day cruises, charter cruises, on ships sailing from Australia (Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend) and beverage purchases made at Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays in The Bahamas.
