Review summary

Was disappointed with a number of items this time. My husband slipped on something on the floor on Lido Deck in the buffets. He cut his lip when he hit the railing in front of the "grill". They took him by wheelchair to the Medical Clinic to have it checked out. He was very sore (69 yrs) for a number of days, huge swelled up lip and didn't leave the ship the entire cruise.......BUT never once did anyone follow-up on his condition.

We have been on Carnival ships before. This time it was the smallest room ever. We turned sideways to get through our entrance (between bathroom door and closets). Besides there is no light in that area so it was almost impossible to see inside the closets. We also had smokers next to us, who smoked on their balcony. This should have been detected by housekeeping - if they would have looked on their balcony. I finally complained after nothing was happening. We could not/did not use our balcony because of the smokers next door.

St Martin had too much hurricane damage. Should have had another designation.

The port that was at the top of my list to see, was cancelled at last minute due to weather.

What number cabin were you in so we won't get it if we cruise on that ship?

It would have been nice for a follow up but yhey have A couple thousand passengers and a cut lip probably didn't seem like a high priority.

Myself and my husband have almost fell there. And we did witness a man fall and reported that the floor around lido was greasy. Nobody did anything about it. So everytime we walked around there we had to be extremely carefull.

Sorry for your disappointment. Hope that doesn't discourage you from cruising with Carnival. All of our cruises with Carnival has been great.

So sorry, my niece fell a couple of years ago and broke her arm. The doctor did check on her and gave her some pain meds. They would have flown her off the ship, but wouldn't let an body go with her. She said she could lay in the room just as well as flying back to FL and wait on her husband to get back from the cruise.

I think her point was that no one from the ship followed up and checked on her husband. He’s 69 years old, is some compassion that hard to come by?

That's hard to blame the cruise for, people fall all the time, it could have happened anywhere
