Review summary

Absolutely wonderful in every way (and I am a very picky person). We enjoyed the great Ship, fun and friendly crew and variety of activities. Perhaps the best cruise I've been on.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was good, but not great. However, this did not take away from our experience in any way. The drink options, however, were excellent. Make sure to visit Alchemy bar. The bartenders are magicians with drinks!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The variety and selections were good for us. We did lots of different things and felt like we got to experience a lot of fun activities. We visited the piano bar a lot (Brandon is great!), the Alchemy Bar (Jennifer and Verra are experts), the comedy club, pool/hotubs and deck, including the over 21 serenity deck, the casino, sports bar (Larry is awesome), the main lounge, and more. We also did the Chef's Table which was a fabulous experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We did not go to a lot of the main shows, but the entertainers/singers/bands around the ship were very good with a fun Caribbean vibe. The main musical entertainers, the J. Mills Group, were fantastic.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service everywhere on the ship, from bartenders, wait staff and stewards. Very friendly and accommodating. Many knew us by name within a day or two.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the smaller size of this Ship -- much more manageable to get around easily and quickly than larger boats, but it did not feel crowded at all. We could always find good seats whether on deck or in the dining room without waiting. This ship was very clean and it has clearly been updated. Everything seemed new with little evidence of wear and tear. Plenty of fun places to be on the Ship without it being overwhelming or too spread out.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our suite was absolutely gorgeous and the steward, Julio, was impeccable in his service. Plenty of room. We are in 7273 and I highly recommend this location. We were centrally located, near the main elevators and stairs and the central glass elevators making it quick and easy to move to around the boat from our room. No noise issues whatsoever.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is a fun area.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

We were re-routed to the Dominican Republic due to weather. DR was okay. Weather was sunny and extremely hot -- better than rain and storms in Princess Cay!

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Very diverse country. We got a private cab and got the "off-the-beaten-path" experience. It was a lot of fun.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
The most beautiful island. Water is so many different shades of blue and very clear. When to stingray city which was a lot of fun and a very different experience.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
I'm not a big fan of Mexico, but this port was fine. Went to Paradise Beach which was nice. Did not venture outside of the tourist areas.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and easy. Hated to leave, though!
