Review summary

Overall this was a very good cruise. The staff were friendly and helpful, the ship was clean and well maintained, our room had a balcony which was wonderful, lunch and breakfast were terrific, ours was a 5 night cruise which was a perfect length.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had FTTF and were able to board the ship between 11 - 11:30, there was no line up to check in, very smooth and fast.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I really enjoyed breakfast and lunches, especially at Guy's Burgers and Pizza Pirate. I found dinner just okay, I especially didn't like how the vegetables were over salted.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
A lot of the activities seemed to be geared to single adults. Went to bingo and had fun.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Only went to one of the night time shows, it was just okay.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was nice that our room steward came in twice a day, our room was always tidy! Head waitress very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and well maintained. The layout was good however I wish we didn't need to walk through the casino to make our way around on deck 5.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, lots of space for unpacking your clothes, loved having the balcony, the hair dryer was terrible.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We didn't do any excursions, I was hoping the shopping was going to be better, if you were looking for jewellery there were lots of stores, but other than that, just souvenir stores.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful island! Water was warm and clear, we rented a clam shell for some shade which was awesome because it was a sunny day. The lunch was good, we had burgers. The boats getting us back and forth from the ship were good.

Grand Turk Island

3 out of 5
The water next to the port was dirty, Margaritaville was loud and crowded. I wish we had walked further down the beach, I think the water would have been nicer. Some nice shops at port.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Long, long, long line to get through customs when we got off the ship.

Sounds.like a fun trip, excluding the long slow Debark. Glad you enjoyed!

5 night is a nice cruise length. Balconies are so perfect for cruising! I am planning an 8-day this Winter for the first time. Building up to a Trans-Atlantic 14 or so days within two years.
