Review summary

It was our first cruise and we had such a good time that while we were in the airport waiting for our flights we started planning our next cruise. We will definitely be doing it again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
I purchased "Fast to Fun", it was the best investment made. It allowed my family to skip the long lines and board the ship in a matter of minutes. I would recommend it to anyone traveling with children. The only thing I didn't like was how the safety briefing was conducted at the muster station. It was way too many people to be shoved in tight space in that heat.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was unlimited and was very good. The drink selection could be improved as we didn't have the drink package, didn't want to have soda while in the sun all day so we were limited to the lemonade, tea and water. More of variety would have been good, but overall no complaints.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We stayed busy the entire time we were on the ship. Something to do for all ages. The pools/hot tubs were emptied and cleaned daily :) a HUGE plus in my book considering the number of people in and out of them all day. The gym was nice as well. The walking/jogging track was nice especially for late night walks after dinner.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The live music was excellent and the comedian onboard was funny as well.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids club with all the games and very friendly staff was a nice touch for when you just needed to adult time. The kids club was one of my first stops and the staff made me feel very comfortable leaving my child with them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room steward was Dave, we talked each and everyday sometime 2 and 3 times a day. He was always so pleasant and nice making sure we were enjoying ourselves. we did the 6 p.m. dinner with Joel, Kenneth, and Catalina. They made every night special or us. They remembered our names. Filled our drinks before we asked. They remembered what we liked and didn't like. On the nights that they danced, they would include my son. I absolutely LOVED the staff and if I could request them on my for my next cruise I would. Thank each of you for making our first cruise one to remember.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The staff was always walking around wiping things down and cleaning. I can' think of a time I saw the ship and it wasn't clean and presentable.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
My cabin was clean and organized when I entered. It exceeded my expectations. We had 4 to our cabin and we were perfectly comfortable..... when we were in the room :)

Be sure to use the mobile pass app when leaving. It helps you get thru customs much faster.

It's the best way to travel. Especially if you've never been to a particular island. You can enjoy it for the day. We love it. Welcome to cruising. 👍
