Review summary

Everyone on the ship made us feel special. We were made to feel like the complete staff on the ship were there for only us. We enjoyed everything we did, and would love to do it again soon.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The time it took from the minute we arrived at the port until the time we got on the ship was over two hours. It seemed unnecessarily long. The embarkment process should be streamlined.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
As I keep a gluten-free diet, I was very happy with the kitchen's ability to prepare foods for me. I had everything from gluten-free spring rolls to specially made gluten-free tiramisu. The food was excellent, and the dining room senior staff was attentive, responsive and friendly. We were even invited for a personal tour of the kitchen, where the chef let us taste every item on the dinner menu. We would especially like to mention two dining room staff members, Nikollette from Hungary, and Stany from India.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The activities we participated in include the use of the fitness center, the adult pool, the Jacuzzi, the trivia contests, karaoke, art auction, paper airplane competition, and ice sculpture demonstration. In particular, we enjoyed taking the morning classes at the fitness center with Penny from South Africa. She was nice and knowledgeable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Epic rock, and flick shows were great. The love and marriage show was very entertaining. Ask musicians throughout the cruise ship were excellent. In particular we would like to point out how great Chloe, the cruise director, was. She was warn, friendly, and very entertaining. We would also like to mention MJ, who stood out as one of the more enjoyable member of the "fun crew"

Children's Programs

No kids on the cruise with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room staff and entertainers were mentioned above. Our room steward, Lino, was cordial and hospitable.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship design and layout were fine. I wish the third and fourth floors were accessible without having to go up to the fifth floor. Also, I wish that walking through the smoke-filed casino was avoidable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was spacious, the storage space in the closets was ample, the bathroom was clean and comfortable to use.

Ship tip

We found the temperature on the ship was kept low. Therefore, I would recommend that even if someone sails in the summer, from Florida, they should pack a sweater.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island) Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
There was plenty to do on shore. We spent the time in Nassau visiting with close family friends that live on the island.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
The disembarkation announcements started before 7 am, yet we only got out of the terminal at 10:30am. The time at customs was long and frustrating, as there were signs all around advertising the customs' free app and the ability to download it and use it to proceed to the faster line. But, once downloaded, the app did not work and made the long wait in the very long line very frustrating.
