Ship was pretty, service was terrible, food was okay, staff wasn't to friendly. Defiantly will not sail on the conquest again, or will not sail out of Ft. Lauderdale again.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Embarking was horrible and long, I have cruised with carnival many times before and never have I waited so long to get checked in and on a boat.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was okay, there were some things better than others.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
There was not alot of activities on this boat. The shoes were not so great, and it seemed less activity than experiences before.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Children's Programs
2 out of 5
My 10yr old didn't even go to camp carnival on this cruise because he said it was boring.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Staff was okay but not up to par from previous experiences, dinner was slow and hard to get drinks, hostess was not very friendly she seemed bothered by people, the stewards did not come around like past experience i have had.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Design and decor were pretty but ship was not kept very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
It was very small, we had 4ppl in our room and there was not enough room to hardly move, beds were ok, cleanliness was alright.
Ship tip
Choose a different port and ship, from what I have experienced Tampa and port Canaveral are so much better, faster, and more friendly. I can honestly say I will never sail from Ft. Lauderdale, or on the conquest again.
Nassau was alright, as soon as you get off ship and into the city they were bombarding us from everywhere trying to selling stuff, offering tours, and drugs, and they would not stop.
Leaving in 63 days from there. Hope it goes smoothly. Been about 5 years since we have cruised out of that port. The last 3 cruises was out of port canaveral and it was very smooth !!
