Review summary

This was our first Carnival cruise in a couple of years and our expectations were much higher than what we received.  With the exception of the first formal night all the meals were bland.  Staff & service was great.

Stay on the ship. Seemed very dangerous when you got off the boat and the ship even told everyone that the US embassy had issued a warning.

I like to keep my expectations realistic when sailing on carnival...it makes the cruise more fun that way.
