Review summary

This was our 61st cruise. The cruisers today have no consideration for others, they slam their doors at all hours, their kids run the halls with no consideration for people down stairs. They do not watch their kids in the food lines or at the pools.

The ships continuously charge for more things that used to be free.

They have the same programs on TV running over and over.

The production of "Epic Rock" was fantastic, I have seen it before and it has gotten better.

The comedians were very much a waste of time.

The cabin was OK. They now ask when you would like you room serviced? They are trying to get away with doing your room once a day. They did not provide ICE as requested

Ship tip

Look at times for food service, we ate more in the buffet than we did in the dining room. The Blue Iguana closes at 4:00 and Guys burger close at 6:00 before the buffet opens. They now charge for the fish and chips the used to be free, but they have lobster, shrimp that you pay for also.

OMG I've been on a few cruises and can't believe you're calling Carnival the Walmart of cruises!

remember, you aren't the only one on vacation! for a more quiet and relaxed cruise maybe you should go with RC or a more upscale line. this is why Carnival is the Walmart of the seas.

We had 3 kids (parents were in a different cabin) next door to us on the Allure. At midnight they were still talking and singing and laughing. The walls are thin. I bammed on that wall 3 times. They screamed then hushed! The next day I saw them and gave them a granny lecture. No issues after that. So I agree. Cruising has changed. It's more commercial; and people can be rude. I still think it's a great way to travel. I go and enjoy the adventure.

Maybe time for parents to stop vacating their parental duties and show some respect. I've taken my kids on cruises and they were well watched and bad behavior was not tolerated. Why are parents today so afraid of their kids that they won't restrain them?

Time to stop cruising? I don't think so. Time for people to show some consideration for others and not just be thinking about themselves.
