Review summary

I really enjoyed the fact that the ship has an adult only pool in the back. That made it very nice and the music was tasteful and not too loud. The bar service staff was very friendly and conscientious. I also enjoyed the piano bar this week. It was a blast with the gentleman who was filling in for someone. Everyone was laughing and smiling and singing unlike the Frank Sinatra group the following week. The workout room was nice, but often the progressive music was too loud and a bit raunchy for my taste. It was so loud I couldn't even use my headphones to listen to alternate music.

The food was quite good, but I found the wait staff to be average to poor. I appreciate a staff that treats the experience like a fine dining one. I don't expect to poor my own water and I want to have more than a couple bites of my salad before my entree is served.

Onboard Activities

I would have loved to have seen more than 1 volleyball event. I have been on other ships where there was a large group of regulars for games on sea days at least.

Entertainment

Loved the active piano bar with a bit of raunchy good humor. Night club is too loud and the music is geared for a young crowd. Early comedy was good. Late night comedy is not for me. Would have liked to see the magic guy coming around to tables at dinner time. That was always fun in the past.

Our room steward Arnata took excellent care of us. In my opinion he went above and beyond for our special needs.
