Review summary

I guess the cruise itself was the best part. The actual sailing days, The food was awful, and that was what everyone says is the best part of the cruise would be! Whether we ate at the dining hall, or at other restaurants and buffets, the food had not taste, very bland and was almost always warm to cold. Very disappointed in that. Also, had trouble with many charges on our bill at the end. Good thing we checked! We went on one excursion and was charges for beers and drinks ...Neither one of us drink beer or drinks. Then we got charged for gratuities for over $1600 for the two of us, after we said we would pay our own gratuities from the beginning. All in all, I would not go on another Carnival Line cruise, nor would I recommend one to anyone else. My sister, cousins, and friends have said Royal Caribbean is the best they have gone on and there is no comparison to the Carnival Lines. My son and his girlfriend also went, and he wasn't pleased either. This was his first cruise.

I thought the food was way better than royal Caribbean by far and all the restaurants and bars and drinks way better that royal as well.

I have been on that ship two times and never experienced what you say I guess your standards are really hi maybe you should try Royal Caribbean carnival is not for everyone I have been on eleven Cruise and am going on the Conquest next Sat

My friends went on Conquest last March, and we are all going together in February! Yay! Can't wait. I also know that there is a Guy's Burgers and the Blue Iguana on that ship. Impossible to have not had great food!

We have been on Royal Caribbean several times and no problems. Last year we was on the Carnival Breeze and had a fantastic time and had no problems or issues at all. The food was great no matter where we ate at. Going on the Conquest next year so we will be judging for ourselves. Really looking forward to this ship.

Sounds like a vacation is Not what you needed. I have never been let down on Carnival. It's what you make it. Like the saying says...you take the good you take the best

Haha I agree, you didn't pay that much for gratuities, just stop! $91 is what you pay per person for the week, 7 days. You will pay gratuities for any drink you buy, 15% per drink, but since you don't drink, you dodged that bullet. So stop, do Carnival a favor and don't travel with them and then lie on them. Pleasant sailing!
