Review summary

Guest services was horrible and the missing star is for them. They incorrectly told us we had to move the first day after we'd unpacked. So, we repacked and prepared to move only to be told that they had contacted the wrong cabin. So....we unpacked again and got NO APOLOGIES or anything from them.

There was plenty for us to do since we were adults. Our teens travel with us often and they would've been bored but it's the ship layout.

Entertainment

Thea, the comedian was excellent and the live entertainers throughout the ship were good;including the piano bar. All other entertainment was below par.

The service staff was amazing. They were very friendly and knew our names almost immediately. We did tip additionally in cash (not a huge amount but regularly) and feel like it made a difference. They deserved it too! From the cabin steward to the dining staff, they all worked very hard and were wonderful. GUEST SERVICES SHOULD TAKE LESSONS FROM THE OTHER STAFF MEMBERS. THE TWO THAT i MET HAD NO PERSONALITY AND WERE A BIT RUDE WHEN THEY HAD MADE A MISTAKE; NOT ME!

The cabin was spotless, only the restroom on the lido was a bit less tidy. I had read of issues with it being warm all over the ship. I like my cabin cold and it certainly was despite the warmer outdoor temps.

Cabin / Stateroom

I was concerned becuase it said "obstructed view" and we had paid to have a regular view but when we arrived, there was a small ladder on the top left and that was it.

Ship tip

We tipped in cash above normal and it was well worth it. They certainly earned it! The dining room is AWESOME. Food is good and they perform a dance each night...such fun! We also participated in the Cheers program and it was well worth it. Alchemy is the best bar. We met a much better crowd.
