Review summary

The cruise itself was not bad, but our accommodations were horrible. We asked for two beds. Got there and beds were pushed together. My husband uses a c-pap machine and there was no place to put it on. We looked for our steward, couldn't find him, so I went to guest services where they told me my reservation was for two beds so it would be done before the end of the day. We went to Muster and then explored the ship, went to dinner etc. came back to room at about midnight to find our room as we left. Tried to call housekeeping, no answer. So after trying to separate the beds ourselves, and failing we we able to push beds apart enough to wedge a stool in between them to put the machine on, but now we lonely had bedding for one bed. My husband used e bedding and I used two beach towels for a blanket. Next day it was fixed. Our room was very cold and the thermostat did not work. After several calls and visits to guest services that kind of got resolved. Room was then very warm, but better warm than freezing. We had no cold water in our room. That or fixed in a day. Never pick a room on the 6th floor aft. The lounges and nightclubs were directly under us. It felt like karaoke people were standing in our room. No sound proofing at all.

I loved the accommodations I felt like I was at home I even want a bed like the one in my cabin and loved the linens and pillow so and blanket are awake nicer than the ones on royal Caribbean by far.

Sorry to hear about your mishaps. First day is very hectic for staff. If you think about it thousands of people with a short turn around time. I think overall they are pretty incredible considering. We have cruised many times. Things happen but they are usually very good with correcting them. Yes there is usually extra linen or cover hidden in room. Also, you may want to ask for a balcony table to put between your beds next time prior to boarding. I believe that would help you out. Hope your next cruise is better. Stay happy and have fun always.

Sorry to hear about your experiences. I was on the same cruise and had a fantastic time. Have you not cruised before? I always take a power strip with us when we go. There's only one outlet in all the rooms.

Sorry to hear about the room. That should have not happened. But while I hope this never happens again, on many ships and at least when I went the conquest they keep a spare set sheets in the rooms closet sometimes bottom shelf and sometimes top shelf in case it is late and you a change of sheets.

Yes, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. You really have to do your homework on where your room is situated. The bed not being separated was an absolute no no. That had to do with your cabin Stewart. Carnival should have given you a credit or maybe some chocolate covered cherries. Did you have an inside or balcony?
