Review summary

I have sailed many times. Carnival. NCL. Disney. Celebrity. Royal Caribbean. This was the poorest. I will be lucky to get my spouse to take another cruise and I love cruising.

The ship is old and it shows. The food was palatable, but not good. The entertainment was poor. Service, except in a few areas, was poor.

I can say that I won't be traveling on Carnival again.

Its so funny how ship to ship in the same company how different the food can be. I've sailed 5 journeys and most times we avoided the buffet because it was not good... But.... Carnival Breeze was top shelf from guys burgers to blue iguana to buffet to main dining area. So awesome!!!

Not every cruise is going to be perfect (such is life) but, i will tell you this..... A problem cannot and will not be corrected if it isn't brought to the attention of the proper people. We have had our "issues" with carnival, yes but once brought to their attention Carnival will go out of their way to make a wrong Right. We won't go anywhere but carnival!

The Conquest was my first cruise in 2005 out of New Orleans and it was memoral!! Loved it!! You can't satisfy every one!!!

I don't get the one star for ANY cruise. Maybe if the ship caught fire, sank, and I bobbed around in the ocean in a life jacket for two days - that would be a one star.

Maybe you should stick to the newer ships. Obviously the Conquest,(which I love) is not up to your standards. FYI...life is too short to complain about everything...enjoy today because tomorrow is not promised!
