Review summary

We had a blast. Most everything was wonderful. Only problem was the dining hall. It takes way too long to eat and our drinks (water, tea, lemonade, not alcohol) were rarely refilled.

Beware of the crazy monkey people. We got ripped off. Charged us $20 bucks, didn't even ask if we wanted to hold the monkey, just shoved it in our face and then used our camera to take the picture and charged us.

Our cruise in April we didn't get our deserts until ten minutes to eight. They were even filling the water pitchers up for the next seating while we were eating the deserts. It was the waitstaff fault I just think they have cut back so much that their over overwhelmed trying to keep up. I felt sorry so for them. This was our tenth cruise and 3rd time on this ship and have never seen anything like it before.

Sounds like you need to send a complaint letter to the president of operations at carnival.

We've noticed a degrade in dinning room service as well. It seems to me it is do to a reduction of staff. Our last cruise on the Conquest is was so very slow. It's about at the point of unacceptable.

I agree jonmichele. I like the sit down dinner each night in the dining room, but on our last cruise a few months back, the food took way too long and drinks were rarely refilled. Thought it was the location of where we were seated, but maybe not.

I love the dining room dinners. It makes the meal an event not just a quick grabbing a bit to eat. It all depends on what you are in to.
