Review summary

We had a great time! There was lots to do on and off the ship. Food was great. The only thing I will not do again is the spa thing, my wife and I did a couple things at the spa and felt it was a waste of our money. They spend more time trying to sell u something.

Steve, I'm a bit curious how you came to the conclusion I didn't tip other staff on the ship when the conversation was clearly about poor service and bully sales tactics in the spa. Maybe that's a product of poor reading comprehension on your part from American common core education standards. I always tip, very well, for superior service. Never, in 15+ cruises, have I removed the included and expected gratuity. However, I will never tip extra for poor service. In my culture, education, and upbringing, tips are not an automatic gimme. If you want to earn more, you work more.

I think that if you left no tip for the service you probably did so to other hard working staff on the ship. They rendered a service to you Butch. That's pretty sad buddy!

I don't remember exactly. It's on their website. But, I think the couples massage was about $250 for an hour. About twice as much as normal. But its very nice. Many of the ports/beaches have massages for much less. We've done that a handful of times as well.

How much is the spa & massage

I agree they do the sales pitch at the end and it about ruins the whole experience. Last few times we've done a couples massage (which are fantastic), I've politely and firmly told them at the start of the session "no sales talk". That has worked out well. Only one time did they try start it at the end. I simply reminded them of my request, got up, and left leaving no tip.

Why waste your time at the spa when you can enjoy the pool and sun for nothing?
