Review summary

The ports were actually very nice, but the food and service left a lot to be desired. Our mistake is probably we have already been on several higher-end cruise so we can't help but compare this experience to those. An example would be after ordering our wine, it often took 30 minutes to actually get our drinks in-hand. And, more often than not, the food in the buffet was over-cooked as well as our selections in the dining room. the saving grace for us on this cruise was the excellent fish served in the "fish & chips" spot on deck 10 and the amazing burgers made fresh at the Guy's burger joint on the Lido deck by the pool - I would easily compare them to the taste and freshness of the famous In 'n Out burgers.

Just got back from cruising on the Conquest and we had a blast. Food was great, service was good. I enjoyed the shows. I go with the mindset of enjoying myself and I always do!

We will be going on the Conquest for the third time March 19 on our tenth cruise with Carnival. Every ship we have been on has a different feel and thene. Even different workers some cruises have been awesome some have been really good. We never had one that has been bad. You just have to make your mnd up to shake things off.

love cruise with carnival going on my 5 cruise in July I haven't had a problem with any of the ships I been on.so carnival is my high end can I get a amen.

I myself have cruised Disney prior to trying Carnival (Conquest), and I absolutely loved Carnival.. not sure which high end you are referring to, but unless it's some like Cunard, Carnival is awesome :)

We went on it last April and the food was horrible, the entertainment was a joke and the ship was just old and smelled of nastiness from sewage to cigarettes.

Your crazy. I just got off the conquest on 3-5. The food was very good. The service and cleanliness outstanding. Dining room food a 9 out of 10. Lido deck food 7-8 out of 10. Rooms could use some updating but were sufficient. Entertainment could be better also. I was very impressed with the conquest and would cruise on her again in a heartbeat.
