Overall a Delightful Cruise Experience

Sail Date: October 04, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We loved the nightly entertainment, except for one guy who was I think a comedian and a juggler.  You couldn't understand him due to his accent, and what you could understand wasn't very funny.  I was disappointed that no Sunday worship service was available.  We really enjoyed the formal dining, the service was excellent.  Also our room was kept so clean and fresh thanks to Roberto and crew who did an excellent job!  The excursions were terrific, especially the snorkel excursion in the Dominican Republic.  My wife can't swim and the crew made sure she felt safe, outstanding job!  Every time we went through the casino, the smell of smoke would burn your eyes!  Our cruise director was a hoot, this guy really loves his job and it shows!  This was our second Carnival Cruise, will probably look to book our next cruise on Carnival as well.

Cabin / Stateroom
It was the first cruise that we booked a balcony, it was money well spent. We got to see some spectacular sunsets from our vantage point. Roberto and the cleaning crew did an excellent job twice a day keeping our room - Spotless!
