A good time was had...

Sail Date: October 24, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

We really enjoyed the trip(s) but they were a little too neat and tidy. No real taste of the place - more like "protect the Americans from anything untidy." Boat was fun and room was more than adequate. Had a good time but probably won't go again.

Pros: The ports of call were fun, music on board was fabulous - especially the sing along piano bar!

Cons: Always after $. Relaxing massage followed by sales pitch. Yuk. How to stay healthy on board followed by sales pitch. Yuk!

Recommends Carnival Conquest? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food was good but plentiful. Wish there had been more variety or local dishes from our ports of call. I could get all that at home.
Service and Staff
Did what was asked of them but kinda' hard to tell them apart. Did I just ask the captain to get me a towel?
Entertainment
Music was great! Loved the "name that tune" games. Really fun.
Ship Quality
Great ship - nice crew - fun stuff. Did not like the smoking in the casino - I don't gamble but had to pass through that room frequently. Plus the smell made it out to the lobby. Really made it tough to breath sometimes.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was a good size and we chose a smaller one. Always kept very clean!
George Town, Grand Cayman
Beautiful place and great guide. Next time I'd just head for the beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
Felt most comfortable here and the cooking class was awesome. Very well done and fun. Beach was beautiful.
Don't Miss: Learning to cook!
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Our guide and driver were very helpful and told us a lot about Jamaica. Wish it had been more about Jamaica than just a rush through the sites. Would have enjoyed Dunn River Falls much more without a guide making you do stuff!
Don't Miss: Chair lift through the country and jerk chicken.
