Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Very impressed with quality of food and the variety of options. We were "Your time" diners and were still able to have the same serving team every night, even though our dining time varied from day to day. Serving team was amazing, personable, and very accomodating.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Least impressive part of trip. Magician and juggler were amazing. Music Reviews were well executed but scripting was lame and used a lot of songs that were either made up and contrived or just simply songs we had never heard before.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Could not have asked for more responsive, attentive service. Shop sales personnel went with us from shop to shop to help us find item we couldn't find. During debarkation we lost a piece of luggage and the Carnival rep looked all over the terminal, found it, and held it for us until we reached Customs. Wow.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We chose an inner stateroom because it was VERY reasonably priced. Found the size to be perfectly adequate - plenty of storage, nice dressing table, bathroom roomy enough to be comfortable. You don't go on a cruise to stay in your stateroom, so don't be afraid of choosing an inner if you are on a tight budget.

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

People friendly. We chose a home and historical sites tour with brief shopping, and wished their had been more time devoted to stopping for photos. Tour commentatry could have been better.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Very cool place, we swam with rays - held rays in our hands! and had two great snorkling stops. Much more commericalized than Jamaica. The development and malls reminded us of being in Corpus Christi.
Don't Miss: rays and snorkling

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Laid out on the beach all day and had an awesome fajita lunch served to us at our deck chairs by a very friendly waiter who took great care of us all day. Cozumel has spent a ton of money sprucing up their terminal/pier location. By far the most impressive, attractive stop.

Pros: Exceptional service, great food, beautiful ship

Cons: Embarkation and Debarkation process is worse than 2 root canals
