Carnival Conquest

7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)

Sail date: November 23, 2008

Ship: Carnival Conquest

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The ship was clean and we enjoyed our balcony stateroom, except for the noise from the adjacent cabins. There were apparently several children in them, all noisy. The ship staff was very polite and friendly. Passengers were allowed to just leave a towel on a deck chair, therefore reserving it for the entire day. This made it difficult for others to find a place to sit.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

It was very clean and pleasant. We enjoyed our visit there.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is a place we will return to. The people were very friendly and the island was clean.
Don't Miss: snorkeling

Montego Bay, Jamaica

The city was too overcrowded with people trying to sell you drugs or get you to buy other things. It had an "unsafe" feeling about it.

Pros: Our Cabin Stewart, Li - He was great and always there!

Cons: The overload of children, running & screaming up and down hallways and generally congesting all areas of the ship.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.
