Review summary

The Carnival Conquest Ship was good (first experience so nothing else to compare to). There was usually many activities going on around the ship. I was surprised at the size of the swimming pools, they were more for wading then swimming. The options for dining were varied, from casual to dress attire, it was nice to have an option. One thing we discovered was the number of "older" people on the cruise. If you are looking for more of a "young" party type crowd and activities, check to see if the ship is catering to those activities or not.

We couldn't believe how enthusiastic all the crew was given their work schedules (6 months on, 6 days a week, and participating in all the drills)

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

We took a taxi tour of the city. Our guide was very good, and we want to go back to Jamaica some time.

Cozumel, Mexico

We went to the Dolphin Encounter and had a blast! We then sat in Senor Frogs (right across the street from the ship) and were thoroughly entertained.
Don't Miss: Dolphin Encounter

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Found it to be a little pricey
Don't Miss: Hard Rock Cafe

Pros: The food was fantastic, and the staff was excellent

Cons: Would have liked the port stops to be staggered out more - 2.5 days at sea, then 3 days in ports
