Focus on having fun. Don’t focus on what’s not perfect. You’ll always find something that could be better. If you’re not having fun on vacation, that your problem - not Carnival.

With Carnival it's better to go on a smaller ship. They are more fun. Want to go on a fun big ship? Got to RC

Prepare for LONG lines.

Carnival Cruise does a excellent job. It was our first time staying in the Havana area and we will definitely stay in this area again in the near future. The Havana deck was quiet, the balcony was larger, and the private area with pool and bar was outstanding.

Reservations for specialty restaurants are made virtually. Go to 18th deck in back for adult only area!

It’s a huge ship with a lot of people, so you have to be strategic about getting to shows on time and looking for seats, my favorites were Karaoke and the comedy shows, I was always there a few minutes early and able to secure seats. The same goes for the pool chairs, but I’m an early riser so it wasn’t an issue.Beautiful ship!

Celebration is great ship, be prepared for

This is a big ship with a lot of people. Some people are rude and inconsiderate. Lounge chairs in the shade are hard to find. Pool is always packed. Food portions at sit down dinners are small and very little variety.

Day one scared me to death. Everything was so crowded, lines were extreamly long and I was thinking the XL class just wasn’t for me, but I think it was just everyone’s initial excitement of being on vacation. By day two everything had calmed down and the ship became manageable. If crowds intimidate you plan on boarding as late as possible, unpack and let the crowd die down before exploring the ship.

Just enjoy the moment. The cruise director will make sure you enjoy yourself.

Be patient and take advantage of all offered

Be prepared to feel cramped. Carnivals is not ready for large ships

If budget allows, consider Loft 19. The premium experience of having dedicated service and a private cabana is unmatched

Since this was my first carnival cruise, I would say pack alot of patience. The elevators were the issue for me, then with someone who has the drink package I felt like the drinks were full of sugar, watered down unless you got a shot then something to chase it down with.

It will be alot of fun. The disembarkation is traumatic to say the least.

The ship is huge! Lots of walking, but it's a great layout. You can still find quiet places. Elevators are very slowwwww because of the number of guests on the ship. Take the stairs.
