This was my fourth carnival cruise as I mainly cruise with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. I decided to give Carnival another try but was not impressed.

Dining room service was slow. Had the late time dining. Did not get out until 9:30. Not much at the buffet like other cruises. Guy burger and baked chicken lines took from a half hour to an hour to get your food. Pizza was excellent and so were the sandwiches. Hibachi dinner was excellent
Onboard Activities

Pool, fitness center was crowded. Went to go on the roller coaster bolt and was told I could not go on because I did not have shorts on. I did have my bathing suit with a cover-up on and sneakers.
Entertainment

The shows were OK. Since we had the late dinner by the time we got to the show there were no seats available. DJs were excellent.

Our waiters and waitress were excellent in the dining hall. Our Rd., Stewart was excellent as well. The bartenders were nasty and took forever to get your drinks.

I have been cruising carnival for a while, so I just made reservations on Oasis Royal caribbean, so we will see .I have done
the older royal caribbean ships about 15 yrs ago
