Review summary

Celebration is a big ship with a lot of diversity. Children were better behaved than adults.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Being processed was an ordeal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was hit or miss. Either very good or very bad. The prime rib was delicious. Deli was good. Pizza was awful (I am a jaded New Yorker). Crème brûlée and tiramisu were outstanding. Service was exceptional everywhere. The Serenity bartenders were terrific.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Always at least 2 things going on somewhere. We were always busy. Bingo pricing was insane.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved all the entertainment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward and helper were amazing! How do they remember everyone’s names?

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was spotless!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We thought it was bigger than expected. More than enough storage space.

Ship tip

Finding Serenity was difficult at first. Ultimately forward elevator to 18.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
A bit too touristy but got a picture of our kids with Benito Juarez (an ancestor)… priceless. Loved gone tequilla tasting. Loved the beach.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Family loved holding the sloths and playing with the monkeys.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Our children are part Mayan and we’re taken by the ruins.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Much easier than expected.
