Review summary

I was disappointed in the sports viewing. Our favorite teams were playing several times on ESPN, and ESPN2. Pre cruise I checked to see if these stations were available and was assured that they were. It turned out that on Carnival, ESPN and its affiliated stations subscribe to the Caribbean versions and all that was available was Cricket and a whole lot of soccer.

Embarkation

Very easy embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The portions and types of meals in the main dining rooms show quite a bit of cutbacks. The biggest problem we encountered was the start of early dining. It was scheduled for 5:00 and lasted over two hours. Servers appeared to be understaffed and or had too many tables assigned.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Casino staff, hosts and pit bosses were among the most friendly of any cruise I have been on. Really enjoyed the non-smoking sections.

Disembarkation

We were off of the ship in almost record time yet it was nearly impossible to get an Uber or Taxi to the airport. Finally got a ride after trying for over two hours. It could possibly be attributed to the size of the newer ships. Over 6000 on our ship alone and we were one of six ships in the Miami port that morning.
