Review summary

Overall, the cruise was amazing. We had a great time enjoying the new ship. It’s huge, but it never felt overcrowded so that’s good. Only place is really crowded is the casino.

Food options were good. You had a lot of them, I enjoy the specialty restaurants especially the 555 steakhouse. I enjoyed emerald’s, and big Shaq chicken. Main diner room was just OK. Chibang was just OK. Buffet was just OK. But the specialty restaurants made up for it.

We ate here twice because the food was good and we always book the steakhouse on every ship so it didn’t disappoint. Stuffed mushroom was good and the ribeye steak was good.

Very good lunch and breakfast. Didn’t care too much for the biscuit but other than that it was really good sandwiches and breakfast tenders.

The Carnival Deli

This deli was different from what I was used to on other carnival ships. All their sandwiches are premade and they just put them in the oven to heat them up. It’s just something about hot tomatoes and lettuce that I don’t like. But you will get a freshly made one. If you don’t eat something like pickles or mustard they have to make it fresh in the back and my husband enjoyed his sandwich freshly made.

This pizza was really good from going on past carnival ships. I really didn’t care for the pizza but Miami sliced pizza was really good and they had different options.

It was really good. I had the jambalaya and the beignets and the other dessert that they had the strawberry dessert ,and everything was really good and very hot made to order and flavorful

The room was cool. It was a good size only thing that stood out to me was how small the bathroom was and the water pressure in the shower. that’s the only thing that stood out to me. The itself was great. The layout was great. The balcony was super big. The cabin was clean when we got there. Stewart missed one day, but we wasn’t Tripping.

I enjoy this port because I was with my husband that’s it that’s all. The people in this port were so rude. and pushy. We we tried to sit down and eat at a restaurant, called Grilling &Chilling and they sat us, and ignored us the whole time. Everybody I tried to stop to get their attention. They’ll stop and say one minute and never come back. Like it was 3 waiters fighting (like literally shoving pushing each other) over waiting a table of people not of color. As I guess they think POC don’t tip well. Well I’m a big tipper if the service is good. My husband order waters and nachos I didn’t want anything the service was horrible.
