Review summary

Carnival dropped the ball with the new Excel class ships. These ships are overcrowded and the crew buckled under the pressure from the immense crowds packed in small areas. I'd advise to stay away unless you like wasting hard earned vacation money in trade for a not so good experience. Other cruise lines do better with bigger ships than Carnival

Ship tip

Picture a ship overcrowded with over 6,000 people and a worn out crew because Carnival tried to pack too many people in areas of the ship that can't handle it. Not a problem with other cruise lines
