Review summary

We booked this cruise for a family group. We had excellent weather and enjoyed most of the cruise. The Backyard band in the Pig and Anchor restaurant were excellent and some of the best musicians I’ve ever heard. The comedians were also very entertaining. Our room Steward was very attentive, helpful and cheerful. The food in the dining room did not meet my expectations. Other food venues were much better. We had a broken TV in our stateroom that took over 24 hours to get replaced.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food was just ok. The buffet was ok too. The food in most of the included food venues was better than the dining room.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really liked the Backyard Band in the Pig and Anchor restaurant. They were fantastic. One of the best bands we’ve ever heard. One of the highlights of our cruise. We also enjoyed the comedians.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was excellent. He was always helpful and cheerful. The waiters in the dining room were nice. I felt tables in some of the walk in restaurants and food areas were not cleared and cleaned when people left. I saw dirty tables in one restaurant that were not even cleared for over an hour. The Lido buffet seemed to be clean.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Saw dirty tables in some common areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was clean and met my expectations. The only problem was a broken television that took over 24 hours to get replaced.

Ship tip

Dining room food is not that good. Check out included restaurants. Has good bands and comedians.
