Review summary

Carnival is always a good time. This ship had the best entertainment I've had on a Carnival cruise. Add to that great food options and fun activities and you can't beat it. It is a big party at sea. If you are not into the drinking scene, there are plenty of places to go where you can avoid most of that.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was probably the smallest inside cabin I've been in. Also, there was a significant amount of noise when the ship was in open waters with waves. I think the fact that there were big spaces with heavy furniture directly above us led to creaks when the ship rocked.

Ship tip

Go to the shows at the Center Stage whenever possible. They were amazing!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Get to the ship early! Wow the traffic! Give yourself extra time. I'd rather get there before your check-in time so you arent sitting in a taxi in the tunnel.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

There's not really much to do here. There's a big pool which would be nice if it were sunny. Otherwise, you are kind of stuck.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Walking around Old Town is the best. If you want to sit on a beach, you can get a taxi over to some of their hotel resorts, too.
