Review summary

We were excited to try this new class of ship. We enjoyed the first two days and then sickness hit which put us in the room for 2 full days of the cruise. I feel because of that I can’t make a full and accurate record of a normal cruise experience. The time we had on the ship was nice; however, it always felt cramped. The walkways are very narrow. The atrium area with the open stage is beautiful and unique. But, it doesn’t work well as not very many seats have a good unobstructed view and it clogs up a major walkway. We probably won’t try this class of ship again unless the ports look interesting.its not a bad ship by any means…just probably not the ship for us.

The food was generally good. However, we had problems with receiving cold food. Except for in emerills…that shrimp scampi came out sizzling hot! But even in chi bang we were brought ice cold food. I sent back some cold refried beans…they brought them back and they were still cold. When I mentioned it I was told that’s how they are served. I have never before in my life eaten cold refried beans in a Mexican restaurant. The fast eat places like guys burger and the chicken place were both great! The street eats were hardly ever open.

We had a cove balcony and thought it was a great room. The bathroom was a great size and was very comfortable. Bed was comfy and the lighting in the room was perfect. No complaints.

Ship tip

Get to all the shows early because seating can be tight.

Cozumel, Mexico

This was the only port we got off the ship for. We love Cozumel. This time we chose the XCARET! park xenses. So fun!! Easy to do for an excursion as it’s a smaller park.
