Review summary

We had a great time on the cruise. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The ship layout is very poor. The center stage area is impossible to get a good seat unless you are 1.5 hours early. The elevators are small and slow, also there are not enough elevators. The food is average for a cruise ship. MDR service was slow and they broke up groups of people who had booked together. The selection in the buffet bar is minimal and the food tastes bland. Pig and Anchor was the best food on the ship. The entertainment was fantastic, the best I have seen on any of my previous cruises. Overall had a good trip. I will be cruising again just on a different ship.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Best ever. No lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food scarce on buffets, MDR took too long, Pop machines for bubbles package would not work.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Way too many kids on board to get near the pools and hot tubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comedians were top notch. Center stage shows are the best I have seen on my many cruises. Center stage has a really poor layout.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff encountered were great to work with.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Cleanliness is a 5. Ship layout is a 1 star. Very poor layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a square interior cabin. Definitely enough room for two adults.

Ship tip

Stay away from spring break weeks. Keep in mind that just because it is not spring break week in your home area it is spring break somewhere else in the country.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Massive crowding lead to back ups in the elevators and stairs. They called 10 numbers at a time instead of 5 numbers with 6400 customers on board caused gridlock.
