Review summary

Overall great cruise on a beautiful ship.

Embarkation

Very easy experience to get on the ship. Port of Miami is so chaotic and busy. Just be patient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

MDR menu was just ok. We actually ate dinner at Chibangs twice and Cucina Italian once because the MDR menu wasn’t that appealing. Service in all the restaurants was ALWAYS excellent.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

LOVED all the center stage shows. Such talented performers. The comedians were so funny We spent some time in the piano bar with Tatsu, she is so engaging and a great performer. We were fortunate to stumble across Roman in the Golden Jubilee, a classically trained pianist from Argentina. He played everything between the Beatles and Beethoven to some of his own compositions. DJ OJ was a great DJ providing great music throughout the ship. Chris, the Flying Scotsman, our cruise director is also very talented in his one man show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the crew members from cabin steward (Wayan),restaurant, fun squad and bartenders were always friendly, happy and smiling.

Ship Quality

She is a big ship. Be prepared to walk a lot. Utilize the app on your phone to help navigate the ship. Common areas were always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect size cabin. Plenty of storage. Bed was comfortable. Like the glass door on the shower. No more vinyl shower curtain sticking to your body. :) Cabin was clean when we arrived and well maintained throughout the cruise.

Disembarkation

Easy process. We put our luggage out the night before. In the morning, went up to Lido buffet for breakfast, waiting till our number was called. We were off the ship with our luggage in about 20 minutes. Love the face recognition system for customs.
