Review summary

This was a nice getaway from the winter weather. The ship is new (as of Nov '22) and there is plenty to do onboard. The service in all areas was very friendly.

The main dining rooms were generally good. The scrambled eggs and bacon on the breakfast buffet could definitely be improved.

Lots to do. The fitness center was large and nice. Pools and hot tubs were usually pretty crowded.

The entertainers in the shows were very good.

Our cabin was a good size and clean. Location was convenient for wherever we needed to go.

Ship tip

Disembarkation was a mess if you carry off your own bags. Get a later flight home and check your bags on board if possible.

Had a problem connecting with our excursion, so we just walked around the old San Juan area. Plenty of shopping, bars, restaurants and historical areas to visit.

We did a shopping/tour/beach excursion and would probably just opt for the beach. The shopping was 1.5-2.0 hours of our 6 hour tour.

Disembarkation

We opted to carry off our own bags and were supposed to disembark based on our muster station. When the time came though they just turned everyone loose at once. There were lines all over the place merging to more lines with people cutting in. What a mess!

It was a mess getting off! They need to observe Mardi Gras it was so simple using the numbers handed out! Everything else was absolutely great! We’re going back in May and hope they get disembark fixed!
