While we had a really good family trip, we were sorely disappointed by the food and service experiences onboard. There were too many bad meals and bad service experiences to let me say it was a great cruise. It was challenging with a child to be honest, a lot of meals were a bit of a struggle which made the trip difficult.

Overall the food was not that great. The main dining room was meh. We had mediocre food and often the wrong things brought to us. What is super frustrating is they have all these other dining rooms now (Capitano/Chibang) but no kids menu options in those places. The other places like Shaqs and Guys are good, but the hours are limited. The buffet was horrible. Barely any options, long lines, and limited hours. There were limited hours in general for food options, really the cuts they've made have impacted the customer experience.
Onboard Activities

The areas onboard are fun. The Waterworks area is fun and the mini golf is really nice.
Entertainment

Everything was great! The shows were well done. I wish they spread out the game shows more throughout the week instead of putting them all the front end. And you did have to save seats since there was no res system, so that was a huge miss but the actual acts were great.
Children's Programs

My kid loved the program! They were so nice with him and I was super impressed.
Service and Staff

This is a tough one because our room steward was AMAZING! But the dining staff was mediocre at best. The service was SUPER slow in main dining room, bonsai, and steakhouse. In one hour at the steakhouse we had been served one app and had to ask them to speed it up. In the main dining room we had multiple meals where they didn't clear plates from previous courses before bringing more. The service was just hit or miss.
Ship Quality

The layout/design is lovely, but there were a lot of times where there were dirty plates and cups sitting around for long periods of time in the eating areas. We ate at Guy's burgers a lot and I would say 75% of the time I had to move dirty plates to find a place to sit.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is nicely designed. Loved the glass shower door and the shower is a nice size!

Expect to have to plan when you eat because of limited time/food options
