A lot of the people who are used to Carnival seemed to have a good time. When I would ask someone in the elevator how they were enjoying it the would say "meh" which is how I felt also. Overall it's ok if you are cruising on a budget. Everyone seemed to get along. Service was unfortunately lacking.

The food was good but the service was very slow.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I enjoyed some of the activities. Unfortunately, did not do a lot of activities because my kids became sick while on the ship.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The game shows were good like Love and Marriage and Family feud but Color my world was not great.
Children's Programs

My daughter loved Camp Ocean. She asked to go there every day.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The boat felt understaffed. There were always dirty tables and hard to find someone to take my drink order.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
This was our first time on a carnival ship and it definitely has a different layout then what we are used to, but it was a brand new ship so it was very clean. It was pretty well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

When we first checked in after 1:30pm, it was not fully cleaned yet. We didn't have soap the first day to wash our hands so I had to track down another steward. Our room was very tight, and the bathrooms are extremely small. We had two children with us so we used the bunk beds and unfortunately the top bunk was freezing because the air conditioning was pointed directly at the person in the top bunk. We had to get the steward to put up a pillowcase to block my child from freezing every night. Unfortunately, we didn't discover that until the third night after she already had a runny nose.
Ship tip
If you are traveling with children, make sure you block that top bunk from the air conditioning. Be ready to take the stairs because the elevators are small. If you want to experience the roller coaster or the water slides, do that as soon as possible in case you run into windy days.
We went to passion island which was a 45 minute boat ride to a private island. The guides were great but the wildlife was a little too much for me. My daughter is very afraid of bees and she couldn't eat because they were buzzing around her. There were also birds that would swoop in on your food if you left it for a moment. It was nice because it wasn't overcrowded but I think it could be a little better.
My husband loves snorkeling so it was great. There was a restaurant and we had a server that would come to us but he was very busy and we couldn't find him. It took forever to pay your check if you didn't have cash. The beach was beautiful and the water was clear. I would definitely not eat there again.
