Review summary
We were so excited to go on this ship being a new ship. We had been canceled several times due to Covid. We arrived on the ship, and it was beautiful. We had gotten on early, so I had my swimsuit on under my clothes knowing we couldn’t go to the room right away. We came from a cold place, so I had sweats on. I quickly pulled them off and got in the pool. Later we went to our room, to change and get ready for dinner, our bags weren’t there. This was at 3 o’clock. I kept being told repeatedly they would be there soon. I was not able to attend dinner, as I wasn’t going to wear sweats or suit. My luggage finally arrived at 9:45. Suitcase broken. We never even saw our steward but once, and didn’t know his name. We had dinner time in Festival for 5:30. Service every single night was terrible. We would wait 45 minutes before taking order. They would constantly forget to bring things to table, at one point two days before the cruise was over, they said they were out of milk. Not true…just too lazy to go get it. Same with bread basket. The only place we got good service was Tempanyaki. Very nice. People friendly. Buffet terrible. Food always the same, not tasty. If you like dessert, forget it. Sometimes you may get two choices. Bartenders seemed great at the Pig. Drinks overall, not that great. Comedy…meh. Shows were pretty good. Their singers incredible. They added a specialty purse shop…pre owned just a little pricey. In general about half the staff friendly, the other half just rude. Three relatives got stuck in elevator seperately. Getting on and off the ship, big improvement. Very painless. The pools were great. Loved there were a lot to choose from, and didn’t run out of seating. We’ve been on several carnival cruises that we’ve loved. The only thing that saved this trip was the pools and our family having fun.Embarkation
