Review summary

It was a great time. Carnival is a great cruise line. My only issue is it seems they keep taking away things and cheapening others. Just raise the price a bit and keep the quality before seasoned cruisers jump ship and head to more accommodating cruise lines. I have one more cruise booked with carnival and after that we may test the waters of other lines

For a suite it seemed a bit cramped. The only issue we had was there were (2) large tvs one by bed and another in the sitting room. Both had their own separate remotes. But they had not been programmed separately. Someone watching tv in setting room could change the channel on bed tv and vice verse

Ship tip

Do not get corner suite as we did. Everyone can see on your balcony and you could see right into theirs. Made it a bit uncomfortable to sit outdoors

Biggest ship in the fleet. Smallest elevators ever built

Early dinner seating. Wait staff was outstanding, for a beautiful ship like the celebration you would expect a beautiful dining room. Not the case. Very low ceilings. Lots of old looking wood walls. Looks like a 70s cafeteria. Ceilings were too low for dancers to have platforms to dance on. No tablecloths (even on elegant nights)

Sgrets99, they have got rid of room liquor bottle purchase, charge for room service, reduced hours in buffet, pizza pirate,deli,ice cream, unlimited entrees in mdr is gone, mushrooms and bacon gone from guys guys definitelynot as good. I could go on. Still best vacation ever but is getting annoying.

Appreciate your feedback. Not sure I even want to go on an XL ship with smaller elevators and cabins. It’s sad to watch the corner cutting.

You're not the only one with these observations. It's like they dont want you to buy the Chevrolet anymore and want you to buy the Buick. But that strategy seemed to sell more Toyotas.
