Q: How many times a day do they clean your room? We sailed on the ncl Joy in April and they switched from two times a day to one. We like two better.

A: With most cruise lines still being understaffed, there is no way all cabins can be cleaned to your satisfaction, or tidied up, twice a day anymore. I always give my cabin, a good cleaning when we first board. Do the same thing, for my hotel rooms. Ju... st what it is. I also tell our cabin stewards, that we only will call on them, to replace towels and empty trash from cabin. We do love turn down service and towel animals, but times and viruses have changed. That’s just me and where I lay my head. I enjoy all the other aspects of cruising to the fullest. Best way to vacation!!See More

Answer QuestionA: Just used it last week. Flew into FLL on 9/3. Arrived at 9:37am. Summonsed an Uber after baggage claim. Picked up at 10:04am and dropped off at Terminal F at 10:41am. 37 minute trip. $44.95 was fare before tip. The return trip was similar. 35 minutes... and $45.68. There were 4 of us so, it was a better deal than any shuttle I could find and we waited for no one else. Easy and efficient.See More

A: Have you thought about using the bus shuttle from the airport to the cruise terminal? It can be purchased in the excursions section of Carnival web site if you are intetested.

Q: We are trying to decide on Havana Cabana or Havana Extended Cabana room. We like that the Extended ( gives a front view verses side view balcony/ patio area) but is states obstructed view has anyone stayed in room 8208? If so, how was it or would you recommend just getting the regular Havana Cabana.

A: Do NOT take the extended virs cabin. The crew lounge is directly below you and it smells like smoke all night. You can’t sit out there and enjoy it at all. Also the view is better from the side. You are not directly in front there is still a lot of... space between you and the actual front of the shipSee More

A: Don’t book a flight prior to noon! Celebration has had several debarkation delays as of late. Most recently Customs did not clear the ship early due to the agents arriving late, then prior to that there was the boating accident at Port of Miami.
Answered by TNTGreen on July 26, 2023
A: Usually we're off before 9, but keep in mind there's always a possibility of being delayed.
Answered by VickisVoyages on July 24, 2023
A: Don't book an early flight. Leave plenty of extra time in the event of a delay.
Answered by ElkCruisers on July 26, 2023
A: Unfortunately for me and my family, we couldn't get an "early" flight back to Pittsburgh. It's crazy that we can fly out of Pittsburgh at almost any time. Getting back in is another story ✈️🛩🛫🛬 🤔 Welcome to Pennsylvania 🙂🤣

Q: Long time cruiser, first time with a passport. Do we take them off the ship with us in port? Are there certain places to go to have them stamped?

A: I take a copy of my passport ID page when I go ashore. I never take the passport off the ship until I disembark.
Answered by bbhellriegel on August 28, 2023
A: You need you license at most places now I did see somewhere to get stamped in Dominican Republic
Answered by aurondrg on July 9, 2023
A: I take mine with me and get it stamped if possible. I say you should always have it with you at port. In the rare case that you may miss the ship at least you'll have your passport to get back home.
Answered by gos313 on July 10, 2023
A: No just take your sail and sign card and your Id (Drivers License)
Answered by lili7677 on November 7, 2023
A: We lock our passports in the safe and we have pictures of them on our phones.
