The 7 day cruise to the Caribbean on the Carnival Breeze was GREAT!  My family really enjoyed the week on the ship and the port excursions offered.  It was the first cruise for our children, ages 19 and 15, and they really loved the activities available.

Eric in the dinning room and Jamie were high points... both were fantastic. Food was on par from what I expect while cruising with Carnival. Pizza from the Lido was not the best I have had. Guy's burgers were good - but the condiment area was always too crowded, maybe because so many of the disperser were not working so you had to search for one that was operational. Outdoor movie was good and enjoyed. Art was something I always attend and was pleased once more with the art and presentations. Ice carving - very good. Hair chest - I'll not view again.. same each time. Missed the Newlywed game. Entertainers were below what I expect from Carnival. the song and dance troop worked hard, but just didn't have the talent of previous cruises. Enjoyed the spa and had my first acupuncture experience - fantastic. Generally, the crew in general didn't have the spirit of previous trips. Seems more like the end of a long season than the beginning. Overall I would still recommend, but not with the same enthusiasm as in the past. The only real thing I was very upset about was the waterfall climbing trip while in Jamaica. The actual excursion was good and Sandy was very good. The problem was with the driver. I along with most on the bus felt we needed to get down and kiss the ground when we arrived. Never have I had so many people angry and blowing their horns at us. the ride home was even worse - not just the driving - but the selection of music he turned on. What started as good cultural music changed to what I would have to call gangster rap. We had children on board, women and men who should not be forced to listen to a constant barrage of cursing. Everything from the "F" word, to "MFs', the constant phrases of "suck my big black dick" and so forth. Even some racially offensive thing that should be done to white people. I complained at the desk on board but do not know if it made it back to the tour. Again, the tour was enjoyable - just the ride to and from.

I have been on a total of six cruises and this was the worst I have ever been on. First of all, there were a number of issues booking through and making changes and/or corrections with the cruise. 

When we arrived on Sunday at the port, we had to wait in line for over 5 hours.  It was extremely disorganized.  The entertainment was poorly done and inadequate. They didn't have good shows.  There was not entertainment and enough to do on the boat.  

I would suggest that they invest in their an entertainment and activities.

We had a wonderful time! The staff was wonderful. The guest services lady from Ukraine I believe, wasn't very nice but all the other staff was wonderful. Different breakfast options would be better. I didn't like the same breakfast everyday. Overall, we would go again. It was a great experience.

We took this cruise with our kids and 4 other families as a graduation celebration. We had a great time. The staff are fun and friendly. Wish we had more time in the ports. Some of the food was great, and some was very mediocre. 

This was a very nice ship. The shows in the theater were fantastic. Food was okay compared to other Carnival ships I've been on. The activities were not as fun as other Carnival ships. The Cruise Director was very nice and personable. Embarkation was not good at all. They lost electricity in the terminal. Delay of three hours. Food lines and wait times for my time dining  were way too long. I recommend early or late dining on this ship. Way to many people for my liking on a cruise ship. I guess the bigger the ship the more people though. 

A bit apprehensive at the start knowing we were on a floating kiddie playground.  Surprised at how much "private" area there was available for us older cruisers to find an escape.  Overall great ship layout with plenty for everyone to do.  Somewhat disappointed in the informality of the "elegant" dining experience compare to those events on Princess cruises we have experienced.  Pizza and burgers were a hit with everyone.  Cabin (balcony) was quite nice and our location mid ship deck 8 was ideal for accessing the fun areas.  One smoker in our party was pleasantly surprised by how nice the smoking areas were.  Ashtrays did need more attention.  One bad experience in Jamaica was use of the Carnival hop on hop off bus service.  It took way too long in the terminal to pay for service with our ship charge card (which could have been done on board prior to port call) and wait in another long line for the bus.  We spent over 90 minutes of our shore time in the terminal awaiting service. We were on the Cheers beverage program and found that additional  gratuity was necessary to gain bartender attention. 

The cruise was absolutely amazing. The crew on board never stopped smiling and always remembered all of our names and what we liked. Only minor issue we had was the activities for the age group 9 - 11 was included with little kids so our 10 year old did not get to meet many her age however we had plenty of activities to keep us occupied. Our 15 year old had a blast and is still texting all his new friends.

Overall i would highly recommend  

I had the best time in my life .the food was out of this world .I had fun at everything I did. they need to have a no kid swimming pool. I went to the pool, one day an got kick in the back 3or4 time by kids in the pool. an they did not care.

Too many passengers and children! The food was overdone, lukewarm and cafeteria style in the dining room. Forget service in there unless you are male. Can't tell you how many times my dining request was messed up, items ordered were not served (the waiter said "too many dishes"). Their ace photographer in the dining room totally ignored the female couple sitting at the table. Gays beware!

Very nice and clean ship.  The water attractions were great. The formal dining was lacking in service.  The first couple of nights it took 2 hours to eat due to slow service.  After mentioning it to the wait staff it got better but then the table behind us still took a long time. 

The entertainment was good except for seating arrangements for the comedy shows.  There is not enough seating and they make you leave and go get back in line for the next show.  you know.... kinda like grade school.  in my opinion, they should move it to the large showroom where more people can attend.

if you go to Cozumel you have to go to Mr Sanchos and in Montego Bay you must must go to the Little French Keys amazing breathtaking experience. 

The he only bad thing about the ship is Carnival had really bad waiting times to board and getting off. I HIGHLY recommend the FTTF package.

The cruise was great. The staff was excellent. The A/C in the room was very poor. We was very uncomfortable. It was hot in our room

 We reported it, but nothing changed.

This Cruise was great all the way around. The staff was wonderful and the food was extraordinary. The places visited were beautiful. I really enjoyed the Cruise director Jaime. She was so lively and she really seemed to enjoy her job. The waiters in the Blush restaurant were awesome. The cabin steward was so nice and helpful. The room was always clean. I really enjoy cruising with Carnival.

I enjoyed being taken care of by the crew. They really go above and beyond to make your stay with them pleasant and enjoyable.Tender ports need to be a longer stay so that cruisers have enough time to get off the ship and spend time exploring the port. By  the time you  get off its time to get back on.

By all means, try the Segway tour, Arthur our guide, had all the youngsters riding the Segway in 5 minutes or less.  For the older folks, it only took 10 minutes or so and we were off for a victory (practice ) circle on our Segway.

Please avoid the Hop on Hop off tour in Key West.  The trolleys only go every half hour and our tour had been grossly oversold. It took us an hour and a half to find a vacant seat on the trolley.

Almost everything about the cruise was terrific.  Boarding was not very time consuming.  All of the Carnival staff were extremely friendly from the room staff, photography staff, the dining staff and other food staff. The room and balcony were amazing.  All of the different music opportunities on board ship were great with a wide variety of choices.  The quality of the food was fabulous. Every part of the ship was extremely clean.

  The comedy shows that we attended were very crowded and should have been held in a larger on board theater.  The thrill theater had several seats that did not work.  The show times for the thrill theater were very limited , so that the wait in line was 45 minutes or more.  This is a popular activity and should have more shows in the late morning, early afternoon and late evening.

The Freeport Carnival excursion staff were very disorganized and not obvious in the crowed throngs of cruise guests.  Our excursion was cancelled and Carnival did not even notify us.  We had to try and find a person on the dock that knew something about it.  

Disembarking was also much quicker than we expected.

Highly recommend the Carnival Breeze trip to the Bahamas.  The entire staff was terrific at their jobs.  Cruise directors had boundless energy and enthusiasm the entire trip. Shows were wonderful.  Food was delicious.  Comedy and other entertainment were also great.  Weather cooperated.  Ship was in excellent condition and always clean as a whistle.  Totally enjoyed my week with Carnival.

Everything about this cruise was AMAZING! From food to ports and most importantly the staff.....THEY WERE ALL OUTSTANDING!!!  We received SUPERIOR attention throughout our cruise.  I would definitely recommend everyone of my family and friends to take this cruise or any other Carnival cruise.  They are SIMPLY The BEST!!!!
