Despite the few and small “problems”, I enjoyed this vacation. Overall, crew are friendly and kind, and the ship is a great “medium” size to enjoy without being overwelhemed by size or the number of passengers.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
It was smooth with about 1/2 hour wait before boarding. After the wraith, it went very well!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I did not eat at the main dining room but used the Lido buffet (boring selections, but acceptable), the Italian restaurant (excellent), the Cantina (very good).
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Not much…I enjoy finding quieter places and reading! As big as the ship is, you can still find quiet areas.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I enjoyed the comedian in the Ovation theatre (not the over crowded Limelight where you can’t easily get a seat); the Main show was good, and the instrumentalists and other musicians in the Atrium were excellent!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most servers and waiters were pleasant; some seemed overburdened and somewhat grumpy! I did not meet my room steward until the third day! That’s unusual as they usually make every effort to introduce themselves early in the cruise. However, he did a great job.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The Breeze needs updating and a good cleaning. Of the over 10 Carnival cruises I’ve done, this ship was disappointing: carpets on stairs need replaced or at least thoroughly cleaned. The layout of the ship is great with many areas to relax, enjoy entertainment, and it’s easy to navigate to the different areas.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Despite the faults of the cabin, I STILL enjoyed it! First, the shower head and jets in the tub need thouroughly cleaned!, the cabinets did not all close properly; the shower doors could not be secured and made noise at night. The space in the cabin was fine and I enjoyed it as well as the balcony.
Ship tip
Even if disappointed with the ship, it still has so many things to do and enjoy. Sit back, enjoy the sun, or the entertainment around the ship!
