My fun fact. My Galveston cruises during hurricane season have generally been the calmest. Often very hot, but smooth sailings. January and February cruises often seem to hit me with storms bringing some pretty rough rides.

Sorry the seas were a bit rough. Sailing during hurricane season increases the odds of rough seas. Although more expensive, look at spring and early summer dates for best sailing conditions. I hope your next cruise is better!

Sorry your first cruise was a rocky one due to hurricane Milton. Definitely try cruising during non hurricane season and hopefully you’ll have a different experience. We were on the same cruise.
