Quick getaway on smaller ship. This is a great itinerary for first timers. Great ship and crew.

Cove balcony 2277. Good size, frigid ac, clean, good bed. Noisy due to customer service directly above. Our fault, lol. It was last one and wanted to try.

Download hub app BEFORE you leave port. It is helpful and necessary to have onboard.
1st time here so we did a Carnival excursion to be safe. We did ruins and lazy river and cenotes. 1 hour bus ride to ruins in a nice big bus with air and restroom onboard. Ruins were very cool. Awesome tour guides! 20 minute ride to cenotes. Do NOT put sun screen on for this! You must shower and put on life jackets for the cenotes. You depend limestone stairs into a beautiful cave full of the cleanest blueish, blackish, clearish, water. You swim through the cave to a straight lazy river and under a small waterfall. Then you take stairs up and get goggles from your guide. Down another set of stairs to a large underground chamber of water with the most beautiful stalactites you have ever witnessed. They have placed some led lights under the water that passes through the water and illuminates with a shimmering effect. Omg I almost cried. It WAS THAT AWESOME. there was a deep crevice that was 120 feet deep!!! Just wow!
Bad communication in morning. Many new cruisers on board and they were confused. Once off ship, passport line was lickety split! Birth certificate line not so much.
