Review summary

The cruise was great! The shore we did in progresso was not. Highly don’t recommend! The staff was great! The life guard in the main pool (James) he was the kindest person to my kids. He would play with them and interact!

The water on the seahorse excursion was very dirty looking. We were so disappointed. It was not what we were expecting at all. I highly recommend not going on the excursion we did if you want a pretty beach. The staff was great though!

Disembarkation

You wait in very crowded areas. It is very difficult keeping to toddler’s interested for a long period of time without anything to do and so many people around..

Glad you enjoyed most of it. The best options in Progreso are Mayan Ruins and cenotes. The water in that area is not the crystal clear blue and the sand is not bright white like other areas of the Caribbean or on the Florida / Alabama Gulf Coast.

Looks like the same beach we went to years ago. Nasty. I don't know why cruise ships go to Progresso. I never hear anything good about it.
